The Office of eLearning and Instructional Support offers individual and group training for faculty and staff on instructional technology, such as basic and advanced classroom technology use (computer, internet, document camera, etc.), the Brightspace learning management system, student response systems and Microsoft Office.
Brightspace is a Web-based course management system that includes communication tools – such as email, discussion boards and chats – for interaction between an instructor and students. It also includes grading systems, electronic assignment submission, attendance and retention features, analytics and more. Brightspace is used for online and blended classes and to support learning in traditional on-ground classes.
